Nomos Education is delighted to announce that it will be running its inaugural CPD Express 10 point advanced workshop series for migration lawyers and agents on Wednesday 23 March 2016.
We are proud to launch our CPD Express at the Primus Hotel – a 5 star hotel and conference venue that opened in December 2015. Perfectly positioned in the heart of Sydney, this heritage sensitive refit of the former Sydney Water Board headquarters has breathed new life into an iconic 1930’s building. We’ve chosen this venue because of its central location, natural light and brilliant catering which will keep you energised throughout the day.
The programme will be lead and facilitated by Peter Papadopoulos and Kathryn Viegas. Peter and Kathryn have extensive experience conducting advanced CPD for migration lawyers and agents through their previous contributions to CPD run by Migration Practice Essentials (MPE), the Migration Institute of Australia (MIA), the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) and the Immigration and Advice Rights Centre (IARC). They are excited about sharing the latest developments in migration law and policy along with practical tips to get those more complex cases over the line!
The programme is structured into morning (9.00am – 12.45pm) and afternoon (1.45pm – 5.00pm) sessions. Attendees will receive practical course materials that they can use in their everyday practice. Migration agents with at least 3 years’ experience can earn 6 MARA CPD points at the morning session and 4 MARA CPD points at the afternoon session. The afternoon session is also approved by the MARA as a mandatory activity. That’s 10 MARA CPD points in a day for only $495!
